Overview:
The Membership Sales Manager is responsible for developing, facilitating, and coordinating the Amrit Wellness Club Membership program. This role involves managing both reactive and proactive membership sales efforts, sharing responsibility for meeting revenue targets and ensuring guest and associate satisfaction. The manager provides daily leadership to on-property associates, focusing on achieving the property's sales objectives. Additionally, the manager maintains and distributes a database of members, prospective members, companies, and contacts, while also achieving personal sales goals.
Responsibilities:
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities
* Collaborates with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.
* Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
* Manages and nurtures relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Managing Sales Activities
* Participates in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and close deals.
* Executes and supports the operational aspects of booked business (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
* Identifies new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
* Understands the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc., and knows how to sell against them.
* Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service
* Supports the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
* Services customers to grow share of the account.
* Executes and supports the company's customer service standards.
* Provides excellent customer service consistent with the company's daily service basics.
* Sets a positive example for guest relations.
* Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Membership Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving membership sales, developing member retention strategies, and ensuring a high level of member satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who can cultivate relationships with both potential and existing members while creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
Key Resposibilities:
* Membership Sales: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members through various channels, including marketing campaigns, networking events, and community outreach.
* Member Retention: Design and execute programs to enhance member satisfaction and retention. Address member concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
* Member Engagement: Organize and oversee member events and activities to promote engagement and a sense of community. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for members.
* Marketing and Communication: Create promotional materials and communications that highlight the benefits of club membership. Utilize social media, email newsletters, and other platforms to reach potential members.
* Administrative Duties: Collaborate with the Director of Finance to maintain accurate records of membership applications, payments, and renewals. Prepare regular reports on membership statistics and trends for the management team.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure alignment of membership goals with overall wellness club objectives.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a membership sales or customer service role, preferably within a resort or membership environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.

* Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.

* Be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
* 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
OR
* 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
