Medical Technologist

				Overview:

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities:

* Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting;
* Expected to develop knowledge of local and international regulations regarding clinical trials;
* Expected to develop knowledge of pre-analytical variables affecting clinical laboratory testing;
* Expected to develop knowledge of disease processes and correlation with clinical laboratory data;
* Perform laboratory investigations;
* Perform clinical specimen testing, documentation, and routine lab system operations; and
* Ensure validity of laboratory data reported.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Biochemistry, Haematology, and/or Immunology;
* Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and medical terminology;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently; and
* Able to work on rotational public holidays and weekends.
