Responsibilities:
As a Med Surg Nurse you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.
* Deliver the best possible care to your set of assigned patients
* Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
* Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
* Create, plan, and implement patient's care plan and adjust accordingly
* Assess and coordinate the patient's discharge planning needs
* Admit, treat, and discharge medical patients
We are offering a sign on bonus up to $25,000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder program as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
Qualifications:
* Unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas
* 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
* Previous oncology/chemo experience is preferred, but not required
* BLS through the American Heart Association is required
