Are you passionate about connecting people with information that saves lives, inspires innovation, and fuels lifelong learning? We're looking for TWO Medical Librarians who thrive on research, technology, and empowering others with knowledge.
* The Electronic Resources Librarian will focus on leading the library's efforts to create a user-friendly, streamlined online presence, managing the library's systems and electronic resources.
* The Medical Librarian role will focus on delivering expert reference and information services to the health system.

You'll be a trusted partner to physicians, staff, and healthcare consumers-delivering expert search services, offering impactful training, and shaping the digital and physical library environment to support cutting-edge healthcare and education. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
* Deliver High-Impact Search ServicesUse your expertise to perform in-depth searches across specialized biomedical, business, and education databases. Support physicians, staff, patients, and library users with the critical information they need-right when they need it.
* Educate & EmpowerProvide engaging, hands-on training and research support for both staff and patrons. Help others become confident navigators of library resources through workshops, one-on-one support, and documentation.
* Keep Us Running SmoothlyMaintain and document library systems, processes, and procedures with precision. Manage the online catalog to ensure all materials are accurate and up-to-date.
* Be the Go-To for Collections & SubscriptionsOversee serial subscriptions, contribute to collection development, and track material orders to keep our library stocked with the best and most relevant resources.
* Stay Ahead of the CurveKeep up with emerging tech and library trends. Your insights will help guide strategic decisions and future-ready programs.
* Collaborate & InnovateContribute to continuous improvement efforts across the library's services and workflows. Your ideas matter here.
* Be a Team PlayerStep in to support front desk reference and circulation services when needed-and embrace other duties that help our library thrive.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in library science from an ALA program with an emphasis on medical librarianship, and one year experience
OR
* Bachelors, and three years' experience
Preferred Electronic Resources Librarian Qualifications
* Master's degree
* Familiarity with cataloging and metadata
Preferred Medical Librarian Qualifications
* Master's degree
* Three or more years of experience in an academic and/or health sciences library environment. Knowledge of, or experience with, the principles of evidence-based practice
Responsibilities:
The Medical Librarian is responsible for providing professional search services and library resource and research training to patrons as well as coordinating, managing, and documenting library systems.
* Provides expert search services for physicians, staff, healthcare consumers and other library users with knowledge of specialized biomedical, business, and education databases and information resources.
* Provides training/education to other library staff and users as necessary; provides timely, courteous and efficient reference assistance and research training to library patrons.
* Creates and maintains documentation of library processes, procedures, and systems.
* Coordinates and maintains library's online catalog of materials ensuring accuracy and currency .
* Oversees serials subscription process.
* Contributes to collection development and maintains materials order tracking records.
* Keeps current on new technology and library trends to assist library manager in acquisition decisions and development of strategic program plans.
* Participates in redesign and quality improvement of library processes and programs.
* Serves as primary backup for front desk reference and circulation functions as required.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: Master's degree in library science from an ALA program with an emphasis on medical librarianship OR Bachelors + 2 additional years of experience
