Job Summary: 

Join our team as a Medical Lab Scientist! This position accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines  to aid in the diagnosis and  treatment of patients.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA.

Certification Preferred: 

* MLS (ASCP) or equivalent (Per requirement sheet)

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training: 

* Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory

Physical, Exertion, and Sensory - Medium

Schedule: This is a PRN "as needed" position working 5 shifts within a 6-week time period. You may be asked to help cover evening, night and weekend shifts. You may also be asked to cover 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday. The initial training period would be full time hours for the first few weeks.
