Medical Assistant, Dallas Family Care

				Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Education:

✅ High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

✅ Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution, a community college program in medical assisting preferred.

Experience: 

✅ Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Caregiver or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred.

✅ Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), taking vital signs, venipuncture, capillary and giving injections.

Other Requirements: 

✅ Must possess a current BLS certification or obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

✅ Current health records with the appropriate immunization to work in the health care field (Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis).
