Overview: Aesthticians specialize in skincare, particularly facial skincare. Aesthticians provide a variety of services, procedures, products, and consultations to help improve and maintain the appearance and health of the clients or patient's skin. Responsibilities: Learn to adjust treatment protocols to perform the most effective treatments while maintaining safety. Provide excellent customer service for patients who have had treatments performed. Giving appropriate verbal and written post care instructions. Ensuring that every patient has a follow up plan, including additional treatments needed, appropriate products to use at home. Qualifications: Education High School High School or GED Pref Work Experience 1-3 years Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skin care and skin analysis Facial treatments Basic anatomy and physiology Basic knowledge of diseases and body systems Safety, sanitation, and hygiene. Professional ethics and career development. Licenses and Certifications LA - Licensed Aesthetician Esthetician Certification from an accredited program. Required
