Responsibilities:

* Receipt and preform final inspection of tensile test specimens
* Perform tensile tests
* Reviewing and reporting of tensile data
* Fabrication of thermocouples
* Receipt and final inspection of stress rupture test specimens
* Perform stress rupture test
* Review and prepare reporting of stress rupture data

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years in materials laboratory setting or materials-related field
* Current qualification in Room Temperature Testing, Elevated Temperature Testing, and/or Stress Rupture Testing would be considered an asset
* Knowledge in heat treating practice and theory
* Ability to read and interpret detailed technical specifications and drawings
* Excellent organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Ability to safely carry out oral and written work instructions.
