Our Architecture and Building Engineering Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Project Engineer. This role may sit in either Denver, CO or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

* Providing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to the mechanical project team
* Attending client meetings
* Performing construction phase services
* Mentoring less experienced staff
* Assisting with business development
* Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
* 8+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
* A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
* Be able to pass a background check to allow entrance onto military bases and airports

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

* Designing hot water, chilled water and condenser water systems
* Designing VAV, Geothermal and/or VRF systems
* Designing and specifying of DDC control systems
* Designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects
* Sustainable design
* Designing steam systems
* Providing commissioning services
* Designing plumbing systems

Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
