				Responsibilities:

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on Building Engineering projects at either our Madison, WI or Denver, CO office starting in May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026.

The intern will be responsible for assisting project engineers with the following:

* 3D building systems modeling
* HVAC software applications
* Load calculations
* Preparing reports and studies
* Coordinating with design team members
* Occasionally assisting project engineers with site surveys
* May assist with building commissioning
* Other tasks as assigned.

A valid driver's license and occasional travel will be required.

Successful candidates must have completed at least four semesters of college-level coursework in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering or a relevant degree from an accredited college or university.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: 

* Coursework in HVAC and/or plumbing related projects
* Experience with Revit software
* Experience working in a design team setting.

Hourly Rate Range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
