Responsibilities:
Intermediate Mechanic
Now Hiring Full-time Mechanic (Intermediate)
$30.00 hourly rate
Position Summary: We're hiring a Mechanic Intermediate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our Ambulance fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
* Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
* Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
* Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
* Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks /job assignments.
* Clearly document service paperwork as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
* Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
* Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
* Must have a current valid driver's license.
* 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
* 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
* MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
* MUST have personal tool set.
Experience:
* 2 years of basic automotive experience.
