Maximo Data Entry Clerk / Bus Aid Monitor

Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure tasks are accomplished correctly and safely. Ensures all tasks are performed in accordance with local Environmental, Safety & Health directives. Addresses occupant concerns in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Uses a Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to correctly capture data related to assets, maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance inspections, and emergency/urgent customer requests. Practice patience with passengers while traveling to and from home and school. Awareness and alertness while transporting passengers.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible to perform all assigned duties as safely and efficiently as possible to maintain a safe work environment.
* Create, updates and close work order in CMMS Maximo
* Create and update Assets in CMMS Maximo
* Maintain accurate Asset Inventory and Condition Ratings in CMMS Maximo
* Review and Analyze work orders for any discrepancies.
* Review and Analyze ICAP and UICAP information for any discrepancies.
* Ensures the reliability, completeness, and accuracy of the CMMS (MAXIMO) Database.
* Builds preventive maintenance schedule for new assets.
* Provide expertise on Work and Asset Management best practices.
* Implement Productivity, Quality and Customer Service standards.
* Prepare and submit reports accurately and on a timely manner.
* Monitors and provides Work Order Status and Asset information to the Wok Control Supervisor or Production Control Manager for reporting to higher management.
* Provide a safe work environment for employees, visitors and customers IAW Company and installation established Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) standards.
* Assist the driver and passengers to maintain safe and orderly travel on buses transporting students with disabilities and special needs, pre-school students, sure start students and pre-kindergarten students.
* Utilize appropriate communicative skills, present a professional appearance, and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
* First Aid Training
* Assist students in safe entry and exit.
* Ensure the students remain seated while the bus is in motion.
* Ensure students are properly secured and wear seat belts when available.
* Ensure wheelchairs are secured and locked.
* Ensure safety practices are always observed aboard the bus.
* Assist the driver by being familiar with each student's drop off location and parent/guardian.
* Write disciplinary reports on students as necessary.
* May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor when not riding the bus.
* May be required to work weekends and overtime.
* During Off school season employee will report to Maximo Data Entry job description for full day

Qualifications:

* Minimum Qualifications
* Education/Certifications: One-year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
* Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
* Certified in first aid and CPR (adult and child) preferred. If NOT certified, then will have to be certified within 6 months from first day of employment
* 1 year of work experience as bus monitor preferred.

* Experience
* Minimum of one (1) years of experience in the Data Entry field required.
* Must have an excellent understanding of safety directives and polices regarding the maintenance of assigned equipment.

* Skill
* General knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the Asset Management.
* Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
* Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork.
* Must exercise discretion and good sound judgment.
* In addition, visual acuity, hearing and speaking requirements would be considered.
* Requires working both indoors and outdoors in addition to working inside an office.
