Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities As a Materials Technician, you will work in collaboration with the material team. A company vehicle is provided to complete assigned duties. Your main responsibilities will be: * Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety; * Conducting on-site testing of soil compaction, asphalt compaction, and concrete properties; * Preparation of field reports documenting equipment used, test locations, and results; * Assist with laboratory testing as needed; * Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions; * Available to travel within the region and out of town if necessary. Qualifications: What makes you unique * Valid driver's license; * Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or other related discipline; * One to three years of post-secondary experience; * CCIL-certified technician preferred; * Must hold a minimum Reliability or Secret security clearance.
