Responsibilities:

Under direction of the Materials Management Manager/Supervisor disinfects medical equipment and procedure carts per department procedure. Receives, stores, issues and delivers supplies and equipment. Prepares equipment and supplies for shipping, as needed. Performs daily counts of par-level locations via handheld technology, approved supply storage system or materials management information system. Performs data entry of stock items issued from inventory. Maintains hospital inventory and materials management work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Participants in inventory/cycle counting process per department procedure.

* Conducts equipment disinfection and set-up per department policy and procedure.
* Documents supply and equipment receipts in the Materials Management Information System per policy and procedure prior to staging items for delivery.
* Sorts and delivers inter-office, U.S. Mail and packages per hospital procedure. Processes out-going mail. Provides courier services as needed.
* Conducts specialty cart replenishment per department procedure.
* Stocks facility inventory, conduct cycle counting, rotating inventory on a first in, first out basis.
* Performs daily inventory counts of assigned par-level locations.

Qualifications:

* Two years or more experience working with large ERP systems.
* Six to twelve months of inventory management experience in a medical setting.
* Six to twelve months related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse preferred.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Forklift operation certification and/or experience preferred.
* Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.
