Responsibilities:
Pay Range: $30.76 to $43.97
The Materials Management Supervisor would lead the day-to-day operations of the Materials Management team, including but not limited to hiring, training, scheduling, managing time and pay, initiating/implementing coaching and corrective action, leading meetings and initiatives, auditing purchasing and contract compliance, problem-solving Envi software concerns, initiating/refining workflows, and maintaining current policies and procedures. Provides leadership to staff members, actively participates in pertinent committees/ad-hoc work groups, develops, and implements measures to ensure customer satisfaction, acts as a liaison and facilitator to support and exemplify the goals and objectives of the Director Support Services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performed majority of the time:
Takes responsibility for training, coaching, and optimizing workflow of Materials Management staff.
Ensures daily ordering processes and procedures are meeting supply needs of organization.
Partners with Central Distribution Supervisor to ensure warehouse supply inventory is optimized.
Leads Value Analysis committee and GPO supply chain initiatives (i.e. Achieve).
Provides timely and helpful service to customers in person, over the phone, and via computer.
Evaluates purchasing patterns for optimization opportunities
Manages, maintains, and troubleshoots issues with purchasing software system (Envi)
Manages Kronos and time off requests for staff
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:
Performs special projects and other related duties, as assigned.
Decision making and budget responsibilities:
Monitor expenditures against budget; prepare necessary documentation for next-level management review/approval; tabulate budgetary data, calculate figures, and check for accuracy.

Two (2) years of progressively more responsible leadership/supervisory/management experience including problem solving, coaching, managing change and team development in a customer focused environment (healthcare industry is preferred).
