Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
* Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates.
* Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan.
* Assist in the coordination and scheduling of project work in the department to meet client needs.
* Provide guidance and feedback to metallographic preparation technicians and assist with specimen preparation as required.
* Develop draft reports and work with the Technical Director to finalize for client presentation.
* Deliver exceptional customer service with various industrial companies, law firms, power plants, municipalities, utilities, etc.
* Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications:
* B.S. or M.S. in Metallurgy/Materials Science & Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* 5 years of relevant experience
* Strong technical knowledge in the metallurgy/materials and mechanical engineering fields.
* Experience in materials and failure analysis is preferable and considered an asset
* Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude
