The Material Coordinator works under the guidance of the Team Lead and Supervisor. The Material Coordinated will operate within Global Support System-Army (GCSS-A) to perform duties. The Material Coordinator procures, receives, pick-up, stores, and inventories materials required for equipment maintenance; Uploads Invoice/receipt and annotate itemize part number in non standard cost. Also, capable of moving and loading or unloading equipment, materials, and also operate or tend to equipment used to transfer material-handling items; driving forklifts and related to material-handling machinery and equipment.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
* Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.
* Operates within Global Support System -Army (GCSS-A) to perform duties.
* Performs day-to-day routine tasks, in accordance with established guidelines, and receives specific guidance from a supervisor or other official for handling of unusual non-routine problems.
* Verifies the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
* Annoate data in non standard cost.
* Examines materials delivered to verify if material that was delivered was the type specified and checks for damaged goods.
* Determines the amount of material needed for specific jobs, applying knowledge of logistics support requirements and processes.
* Ensures that material is appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment and keeps records of goods received.
* Uses computerized systems to compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand.
* Moves or transports material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck; may compile production records in order to locate material using manual or computerized systems.
* Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives
* Performs other duties as assigned.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
* Work is generally conducted in an office, however, at time you maybe in the shop environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the outdoors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic condition.
* A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days a week)
* Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires, which may require travel 10% of the year.
* Operate a GSA vehicle
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
* Must have 3 to 5 years of related experience.
* Must possess a High-school diploma or GED.
* Must be eligible for issue and possession of a Common Access Card (CAC).
* Must have a working knowledge and operational experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army and LIW (Logistical Information Warehouse0
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point) SharePoint and Adobe product is required.
* Workable knowledge AR 710-2.
* Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
* Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
* Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
EXPERIENCE:
* Capable of completing day to day routine task, in accordance with the establish guidelines, and receives specific guidance from supervisor or other official for handling of unusual non-routines.
* Ability to work with the team lead to move parts to the area of repair.
* Determine access visibility on specific jobs and applying knowledge of logistics support requirement and processes.
* Work with the local purchase section to ensure there is a valid order and an expected date of delivery for repair parts and supplies required for the mission.
* Verify materials delivered are the parts specified and checks for damage goods.
