Overview: Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities: The California Hospital Medial Center Early Care and Education programs provide early care and education services for infants toddlers and pre-school children. Staff within these programs are charged with nurturing and stimulating the social emotional language cognitive and physical development of each child. Center-based Early Care and Education programs are open year round from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday though Friday. Duties include: * Planning and preparing daily classroom activities. * Direct instructional services. * Maintaining high quality classroom environments * Daily record keeping. Qualifications: * 2 years of experience working with children birth to five years. * BA in Child Development or a minimum of 24 Child Development units required. * Current CPR and First Aid training required * Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred. * California Department of Education Teacher Permit preferred
