Responsibilities:

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. 

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

* Conducts the Drivers Training Program
* Ensures Section Master Drivers are all qualified and have up-to-date information for instructing employees on vehicles operations.
* Proper handling of PII or sensitive information.
* Provide training in accordance with DoD, FMCSA and OSHA standards.
* Oversee the training program of all vehicles and equipment (tactical, non-tactical, MHE, commercial and non-commercial).
* Establish an effective training program on operating tactical and non-tactical vehicles/equipment.
* Ensures assigned operators, department master drivers, examiners, and licensing personnel are trained and licensed IAW AR 600-55.
* Ensures that all licensed drivers are given annual sustainment training IAW company policy and AR 600-55; ensures training records are updated accordingly.
* Ensures AR 385-10 The Army Safety and Occupational Health Program are emphasized in training.
* Monitors drivers performance, and where appropriate, drivers with good performance records receive for sustained performance.
* Monitors records and performance of drivers to determine if remedial training is needed.
* Ensures all section master drivers have an appointed master driver and a valid copy of appointment orders.
* Ensures personnel receive proper training on performing PMCS.
* Conduct reviews of operators records for accuracy and completeness as required.
* Attends all accident review boards and provide input/recommendation.
* Ensure that all drivers' information is uploaded to the company database.
* Assist with inspection and checking all sections periodically and randomly.
* Provide feedback on the quality of the drivers training program to Quality Manager.
* Submit driver packets to Orange Tree for driver background checks.
* Assist corporate DOT program with the drug and UA samples as required.
* Maintain a Master Driver/DOT SharePoint file on the Quality SharePoint.
* Maintain a file with all employee's driver's license data, to include all equipment licensing on and expiration dates.
* Maintain high standards on PII
* Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 

* May have to work in the following environment elements such as exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals, and demands for travel, overtime, or shift work.
* Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: 

* Medium work.
* Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: 

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must have a valid Real ID State Driver's License and CDL with no restrictions.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). 
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
* Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
* Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.

EXPERIENCE:

* Five (5) years of performing quality control functions related to ISO 9001 program or operations.
* Five (5) years of knowledge of US Army logistics programs, concepts, methodologies, and relationships pertaining to installation logistics operations.
* Three (3) years of knowledge of Master Driver/DOT operations
* Must have attended the ARMY Master Driver course.

* Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
* Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
* Maintain a Master Driver/DOT SharePoint file on the Quality SharePoint.
* Maintain a file with all employees' driver's license data, to include all equipment licensing on and expiration dates.
