We are currently seeking a Marketing Research Specialist to join our team of professionals. 

This position will be responsible for performing internet research and high-quality Excel-based reporting to ensure flawless bonusing marketing execution. You will conduct research, proofread and review data, document and format these findings in Excel reports, complete quality assurance checklists, and communicate with internal and external teams to ensure the integrity of marketing data related to bonusing marketing execution. 

Our "ideal candidate" has 2 -4 years of Direct Marketing experience performing research, Excel reporting, marketing project plans, campaign execution, data checking/proofreading, analysis, auditing or recent College Graduates welcome. This individual needs to have strong detail-oriented skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have experience conducting thorough and accurate research and analysis of data, meeting project scope and deadlines, and effectively communicating project status.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to:

* Conduct research on-line about companies (corporate hierarchy, locations, services, etc.); 
* Determine proper industry category; 
* Categorize businesses based on research;
* Think about and understand what is being reviewed and make decisions about the data; 
* Format reports following established guidelines for all team projects; 
* Verify all sources of information and document research findings; 
* Communicate initial findings and any questions that are uncovered; 
* Reference and navigate various systems and reports; 
* Ensure data accuracy while working within a production-oriented deadline driven environment;
* Complete quality assurance checklists; 
* Utilize department tools and follow all policies and procedures;
* Support resolution of complaints.

Qualifications:

In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:

* College Degree from 2 or 4-year college or university required (Business or Marketing preferred) or 2-4 years of professional experience in lieu of college degree;
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office required; 
* Strong working knowledge and experience in Excel (V lookup, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.); 
* 2-4 years prior Direct Marketing industry experience in performing research, Excel reporting, marketing project plans, campaign execution, data checking/proofreading, analysis, auditing, quality assurance; or client support; 
* Strong skills in attention to detail and accuracy; proofreading skills; 
* Strong Internet research capabilities; 
* Strong organization and project management skills; 
* Strong written and oral communication skills; engaged listening skills; 
* Flexible, organized, open to feedback with excellent follow-through skills; 
* Ability to deliver on promises and meet deadlines. Balance a sense of urgency with calm and confidence; 
* Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a "can-do" attitude; 
* Problem solving and decision-making ability; 
* Understanding of relationships, analytical and a self starter with the ability to work in a deadline driven production-oriented environment.
