Overview:

This opportunity is for candidates based in S o Paulo or Miami.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans to seed and go to market with new products and technologies.
* Identifies, researches, evaluates, and prioritizes market leads and opportunities to influence purchases and specifications with key end users and influencers. Forms relationships with potential regional customers outside of the current Company revenue stream.
* Recommends ongoing improvements to the Market Development and Training & Education program to support regional business; proactively implements new processes and workflows.
* Develops and executes educational programs, presentations, conferences, seminars, clinics, and other events with Sales Management and Applications Engineering to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Shure products. May involve oversight of technical and logistical support for conferences, seminars, clinics, and other special events.
* Develops methods for evaluation of effectiveness and user adoption, including post-training follow-up with end-users and proactively identifying areas of improvement.
* Provides support for and input to, the Product Planners and Product Marketing Specialists on the Company's product lines.
* Monitors and reports on competitive activity, both from a product and market development standpoint.
* Provide in-person support for critical applications territory-wide.
* Creates new revenue opportunities by matching end-users, applications, and products.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
* Extensive experience providing audio technical support, audio design, and audio equipment set-up.
* Background or experience with touring production, theater production, integration, conferencing, broadcasting, or networking.
* Deep understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Enjoys meeting and dealing with new people.
* Knowledge of audio DSP technology.
* Expert troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to learn new technologies.
* Ability to handle multiple assignments, work independently, and see projects through to successful completion.
* Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills.
* Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
* Language skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English required. Portuguese highly desired.
