About the Role NPI Technician - High-Speed-Digital Test & Measurement (m/f/x) We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing & Test Technician to join our High-Speed Digital Manufacturing team in Böblingen. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates of technician schools, electrical engineering technicians, mechatronics technicians, electronics technicians, and early-career engineers who want to work with some of the world's most advanced electronic measurement equipment. In this role, you will support the introduction of cutting-edge test and measurement products including Bit Error Rate Testers (BERTs) and Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWGs). Working closely with manufacturing and development engineers, you will build, test, troubleshoot, and optimize new products before they move into full-scale production. You will gain hands-on experience with prototype development, electronic testing, fault diagnosis, manufacturing process improvement, and new product introduction (NPI) while working at the forefront of high-speed digital technology. Responsibilities: * Build, assemble, test, and validate prototype and pre-production electronic products. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, manufacturing, and test-related issues. * Support the introduction of new high-speed digital measurement products into manufacturing. * Optimize manufacturing and test processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. * Install, maintain, and improve manufacturing tools, fixtures, and test systems. * Work closely with development and manufacturing engineers during the product development lifecycle. * Document manufacturing processes and test procedures. * Support operator training and product transfer into volume production. Qualifications: Qualifications * Technician certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a related discipline; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field. * Graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply. * Knowledge of electronics, measurement systems, or electronic test equipment. * Interest in troubleshooting, fault finding, PCB-level diagnostics, and hardware testing. * Familiarity with manufacturing, laboratory, prototype, or test environments gained through work experience, * projects, apprenticeships, or education. * Basic programming knowledge (for example C, C#, Python, or similar) is beneficial. * Strong hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for solving technical problems. * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. * Fluent German and good English skills.
