Responsibilities: The essential functions of this job position include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and duties an employee encounters while performing this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job, in accordance with the ADA and applicable state/local law. * Plan demand and manage desired inventory levels of parts to support production and metric goals * Manage the production site inventory levels, balancing when necessary * Initiate purchase orders (POs) and blanket purchase agreements (BPAs) to replenish inventories * Track inventory orders to guarantee on time delivery and minimize risk * Partners with the Forecasting/Sales teams to assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast, and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics * Develop strong ties with internal customers, suppliers, planners, buyers and all Dish Network departments involved with material planning (QA, Engineering, Marketing, Logistics, In-Home Services (IHS), Call Center (CXO) and Manufacturing sites) * Measure, analyze and report key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) * Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies * Develop, monitor and communicate reports on inventory concerns to business units and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement * Provide direction to Inventory Control Analysts at our production facilities * Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel * Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills * Ability to meet attendance requirements which may occasionally require overtime * Proficiency in the English language to communicate, read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have strong written, verbal and typing skills * Meet all of DISH's performance expectations, including but not limited to, satisfying all applicable metrics, productivity standards, goals, and proficiencies related to overall performance Essential Physical Functions: * The employee's work may require prolonged standing, walking, and performing tasks that require manual dexterity and repetitive motion * Physical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy objects up to 50 lbs * Safely transport materials, finished products, or equipment using proper lifting techniques * Perform tasks that require bending, stooping, or reaching to access materials, equipment, or workstations * Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools and equipment * The employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, telephone, and other equipment Essential Sensory Functions: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk to other employees and hear speech from other employees * The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to, face to face communications, over the phone communications, and email & chat messaging communications * The employee must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus, read and interpret, documents and instructions; frequent identification of letters, numbers, and symbols in a technology environment. Sufficient visual acuity to inspect products for quality and identify any defects or discrepancies. Work Environment: * While performing the duties and essential functions of this job, the employee is exposed to work in a warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like * The warehouse operates in an open non-temperature controlled environment * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate * Duties may involve working at heights, navigating narrow aisle racking with high lifts, and working in enclosed spaces * The employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes and ESD straps * Hi-Vis Work Shirts and Hi-vis vests are required to be worn throughout the facility * Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment Qualifications: Skills: * Must possess the ability to learn multiple new software systems autonomously without constant manager intervention * Oracle ERP/MRP experience preferred; experience with other systems also desirable, especially those relating to planning, inventory management and demand planning * Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, with limited supervision * Strong analytical and conceptual skills * Data gathering, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs * Well-organized and high level of attention to detail * Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis verbally and in written form * Experience with computers and computer software programs such as Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive, and Calendar * Ability to use Google suite in moderate to advanced capacities to develop materials, expense and accounting models * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Must have strong written, verbal and typing skills * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions * Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Mathematical Skills: * Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals * Draw and interpret bar graphs and diagrams * Compute rate, ratio, and percent Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all above duties, possess all listed skills, and be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability generally required to successfully perform the essential job functions. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
