Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
* Become the expert level owner of a suite of manufacturing equipment in Keysight's semiconductor manufacturing areas, specializing in either dry etch or lithography.
* Drive the capital acquisition process for manufacturing equipment.
* Develop preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
* Lead equipment repair escalations and oversee maintenance activities.
* Perform emergency repairs in a manufacturing environment as needed.
* Coordinate vendor service visits for corrective and preventive maintenance.
* Drive hardware improvements and automation projects.
* Collaborate closely with process engineers and operators to support both volume production and R&D process development.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
* Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and solve complex problems independently.
* Proficiency with CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
* Motivation to pursue a hands-on, engineering career.
* Strong desire to learn new skills and tackle novel challenges.
* Engineering experience in a manufacturing or other technical environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
* Proficiency in a common programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++).
* Experience using SQL for database interaction and data analysis.
* Background in lithography or dry etch within the semiconductor industry.
* Experience in chemical or high-hazard manufacturing environments.
* Technical project management experience.
* Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
* Experience with automation platforms (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, or scripting for tool automation).
* Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
* Hands-on experience with chemical or gas delivery systems.
* Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
* Proficiency in structured troubleshooting methodologies such as 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Fishbone diagrams.

This critical role is based at our headquarters in Santa Rosa, CA.

Pay Range:

USD $116,790.00 - USD $194,650.00 Year
