Responsibilities:
This role will serve as a strategic architect for our technology talent engine. Supporting our IT, Enterprise, Wireless Technology, and DISH Technology organizations, you will lead a team of ~5 professionals to align recruitment initiatives with broader technical roadmaps. This is an advisory position for a proactive thinker who understands the nuances of the technical labor market, thrives on data analytics, and excels at building high-trust relationships with SVPs and engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with executive leadership and department heads to understand the business's long-term technical roadmaps and workforce needs; ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with product release cycles and provide insights that inform technical talent planning
* Regularly engage with senior leaders, including SVPs and department heads, to provide strategic recruitment insights and recommendations; lead high-level discussions to identify skill gaps in emerging technologies and develop proactive sourcing strategies for niche technical roles
* Act as a thought leader in technical talent acquisition, guiding hiring managers on market trends, developer salary benchmarks, and specialized sourcing strategies; serve as an advisor in shaping the candidate journey to ensure it remains competitive within the tech industry
* Build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and drive change by inspiring confidence in technical recruitment best practices and strategic talent management
* Lead initiatives to streamline technical recruitment processes, including leveraging AI and automation to reduce time-to-hire for high-demand roles
* Manage complex immigration and visa sponsorship workflows, ensuring recruiters and hiring managers are educated on timelines, costs, and compliance requirements for international talent
* Prepare analytical reports for all levels of the organization ensuring data integrity; use data to make recommendations on sourcing ROI, assessment pass rates, and digital media spending
2026 Performance Objectives (OKRs) *Subject to Change:
* Drive excellent experience for both our candidates and hiring managers, measured through surveys, 90% score target
* Drive a 10% reduction in Time to Fill year over year, keeping candidate time in process under 30 days
* Meet business hiring goals through quality sources including proactive sourcing of 20%, 20% employee referrals, and 30% internal hires
* Maintain a ratio of 50% candidates submitted to hiring managers to 1st round interviews completed
Location: Multi-site requirement (50% Englewood / 50% Littleton, 2x month at Inverness, 1x month at Downtown Denver)
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 3 years related experience and/or training; or five plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Deep expertise in Technical Recruitment, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud infrastructure, and emerging tech stacks
* Proven experience managing immigration and global mobility cases within a high-volume technical recruiting environment
* Demonstrated success in leadership (formal or informal) within recruiting or human resource functions within large, enterprise-level organizations
* Experience in technical agency recruiting is highly desirable
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS experience preferred)
* Must be able to work the following work schedule: 50% of time at Englewood and 50% at Littleton, 2x month at Inverness, 1x at DGC
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior technical stakeholders without direct reporting lines
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical hiring strategies clearly to SVP-level stakeholders
* Technical fluency; ability to discuss technology trends and talent landscapes with engineering leaders and architects
* Adept at identifying complex problems, analyzing situations, and implementing innovative, evidence-based solutions for technical talent scarcity
* Must be flexible, resilient, and innovative in an ambiguous, fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment
* A track record of consistently delivering high-quality results, managing multiple priorities, and holding oneself accountable to achieving targets
