Responsibilities:
The Manager of Rehabilitative Services is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the areas of physical therapy, speech therapy, occupation therapy, and cardiac rehab services.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
* Supervision of all personnel, clinical activity, ongoing education, participation in performance Improvement projects, consultant activities.
* Establishes policy and procedures for the department in accordance with Joint Commission, state and federal regulations and hospital administration guidelines assure safety and service for our patients.
* Responsible for budgeting, daily operation, staffing, and follow productivity standards of the organization
* Works collaboratively with other director and managers in the facility to assure quality of care standards are met.
* Serves in a multi-disciplinary capacity providing general services to a wide variety of populations including pediatric, medical, surgical, chemotherapy, ambulatory, orthopedic, geriatric, post-partum and nursery.
* Represent CHI in community events, activities or board memberships as requested by administration, as part of our Community Benefit Program
* Communicate issues with the Vice President of Patient Care on regular and as needed basis.
* Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Graduate from accredited school in rehabilitative services
Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Minnesota
Minimum of five years hospital experience and three years of leadership experience
Preferred
BLS
