The Manager, Project Management oversees a team of Project Managerment Professionals to ensure accurate, timely, and profitable system installations that meet or exceed client expectations. The manager is well-versed in team member responsibilities and directly engages with clients to resolve any issues or disputes, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development (33%): 

*  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers across varying experience levels, ensuring high performance, technical expertise, and ongoing development.
*  Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team, promoting continuous learning and growth.
*  Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and support to help team members achieve individual and departmental goals.
*  Collaborate with department and regional leaders to align team objectives with broader organizational goals, ensuring effective resource allocation.
*  Ensure the Project Management team receives comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training on company products, system operations, and processes.

Project Oversight and Cross-Functional Collaboration (33%): 

*  Lead the Project Management team to ensure system installations are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
*  Review and ensure Project Managers create project schedules, provide status updates, and manage billing, including progress billing, final billing, and monthly invoicing, in a timely manner.
*  Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline processes and enhance cross-functional efficiency.
*  Coordinate with internal teams, building representatives, and tenants to address issues and facilitate timely
* Manage certain high-profile projects as needed.
*  Assist staff in prioritizing projects and in determining resource and material requirements.
*  Ensure Project Managers maintain thorough project documentation and compile complete records for handover to the Customer Success team.

Continuous Improvement and Industry Leadership (33%): 

*  Regularly solicit feedback from staff, customers, and management to identify and address any barriers affecting the department's ability to deliver high-quality services.
*  Stay current with company services, technology, and internal processes.
*  Keep informed of emerging trends in property technology, electronic security, and integrated systems, ensuring the team remains competitive and up to date on the latest innovations.
*  Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and industry insights, helping shape the company's product development strategy.
*  Lead post-project reviews for large-scale installations, capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement within the Project Management team.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

*  Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
*  PMP certification preferred.
*  5+ years of project management experience, ideally in electronic security or property technology.
*  3+ years of experience leading Project Managers, with a proven track record of developing talent and driving results.
*  Data-driven approach to managing growth, team performance, workload balance, resource alignment, productivity optimization, and ensuring labor supply meets demand.
*  Proven ability to conduct effective one on one meetings with team members to achieve goals and foster engagement.
*  Skilled in meeting financial targets by managing installation activities within budget, timeframe, and forecasted
*  Strong experience managing large, complex projects from design to implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and technical precision.
*  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on high-stakes client management and cross-functional collaboration.
*  Proficient in CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics.
* Able to excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment while balancing strategic vision with attention to detail.

Additional Eligibility Requirements 

*  Must pass the Drug Test, the Background Check, and any pre-employment tests as applicable
*  Required to maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record 
*  Required to obtain and be able to maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws, and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state(s) which they are working 

Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional climate controlled, open, well-lit office environment with conversational noise levels. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  

Physical Demands 

Must be able to sit for long period of time performing sedentary work.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear with or without an accommodation.  The employee is frequently required to use repetitive motion using a keyboard, mouse, and telephone.  The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  

The employee may occasionally be required lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 20 pounds.
