Overview:
As Manager of Product Marketing and Management for the Small Molecule Consumables Portfolio, you will be responsible for managing a group of product marketing managers who execute the business strategy, commercialization, and sustaining marketing activities for a segment of the Consumables and Lab Automation business unit. Ability to manage and multi-task, as well as attention to detail, and translating technical capabilities into benefits, is critical. A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong commercial skills that possesses technical, and market knowledge would be ideal for this position.
Domestic and international travel of up to 30% is required.
Responsibilities:
* Ability to lead and manage group of technical product managers and product marketing.
* Understand, contribute and execute long term strategy and roadmap.
* Work closely with research and development, marketing communications and scientific teams on go-to-market strategies for launching new products and execution of impactful marketing campaigns for on market products. Including setting KPIs.
* Generate personas, value propositions, and positioning for key areas of responsibility.
* Develop comprehensive marketing requirements based off voice of the customer and generate business cases that aid in the justification and prioritization of new products or enhancements.
* Work closely with field marketing and sales management teams to develop and execute training plans. Prioritize areas of focus by geography.
* Maintain competitive intelligence and develop appropriate and timely responses for internal and external audiences.
* Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among group members.
Qualifications:
* Minimum BS/BA in a Science & Technology or Marketing degree; advanced degree preferred
* Demonstrated experience (5+ years) managing and leading teams in a product management, business development, or other customer-facing roles in a technology domain.
* Proven track record of implementing 'Go To Market' product strategies.
* Strong leadership skills required.
