Overview: Sarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of health care products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The Process Excellence Manager leads the development and implementation of Operational Excellence strategies across Sarnova's Distribution Network, driving continuous improvement, inventory optimization and innovation. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that align with the organization's growth objectives and customer satisfaction goals. As the Process Excellence Manager, you will lead transformative initiatives that ensure our distribution operations are efficient, scalable, and customer centric. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will directly enhance the quality, reliability, and delivery of products, playing a pivotal role in the organization's overall success and strategic growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Create and own the identification, development, and execution of high-impact operational efficiency programs across the Distribution Network, leveraging methodologies such as Lean Principles and six sigma tools. * Evaluate current business processes to identify opportunities for value creation, operational efficiency, and waste reduction, while aligning initiatives with strategic business goals. * Establish, monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project primary metrics that measure success, ensuring the organization maintains high-performance standards across operations. * Manage inventory optimization across all warehouses, provide data and guidance for velocity slotting to improve picking efficiency. * Identify error trends from quality data and created process improvements to reduce defects across all warehouses. * Partner with Distribution Network Operational Leaders, Sales, Finance, and other key stakeholders to align improvement efforts with broader business objectives. * Maintain and update SOPs to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to best practices across the organization. Audit existing processes to ensure SOP's and Work Instructions are being followed. * Train warehouse associates and leaders on new or revised processes. * Drive the adoption of standardized tools and processes, ensuring stability and enhanced business performance through effective change management strategies. * Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure progress, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making. * Conduct regular audits to ensure continuous improvement efforts are sustained, and financial, operational, and customer-focused objectives are met. * Collaborate on merger and acquisition projects, ensuring seamless integration of operational processes and best practices. * Ensure Warehouses meet Drug Supply Chain Security Act compliance requirements. * Prepare and present regular progress reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed of key milestones, outcomes, and next steps. * Additional job duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Required: * Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in operational excellence, process improvement, inventory management or related fields, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. * Minimum of 1+ years utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies; formal certification preferred. * Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Inventory management and supply chain management in a distribution environment. * Familiarity with medical devices, medical supplies, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable. * Proven ability to develop and execute cohesive project plans and schedules, managing dynamic changes across the project lifecycle. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, implement, and monitor key operational and business metrics. * Effective in stakeholder management, including relationship building, negotiation, and communication across all organizational levels. * Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. * Proactive, resourceful, and goal-oriented with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results and drive process improvements. * Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks. * Strong sense of ethics, confidentiality and integrity. * Knowledge of Drug Supply Chain Security Act a plus.
