Overview:
The Premium Audit Dispute Manager is responsible for leading and managing a Premium Audit team who conduct virtual and some physical audits across various lines of business, with a focus on Workers' Compensation and General Liability. This role oversees service delivery, inventory management & stabilization, staff development, and regulatory compliance within the Premium Audit function. The manager oversees daily operations, provides strategic direction, and fosters a culture of excellence aligned with AmTrust's mission, vision, and values.
Those within a 50 mile radius of an AmTrust office will be expected to abide by a hybrid schedule.
The expected salary range for this role is $76,600 - $110,000.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
Supervises a remote team of 12-16 Senior Premium Auditors & Premium Auditors.
Performs coaching, mentoring and performance management to ensure team success. Performs all necessary management functions to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure that compliance and performance standards are achieved.
Leads recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of audit staff.
influences others to take actions to support organizational changes by removing barriers, overcoming obstacles and/or resistance and providing necessary resources
Audit Execution & Performance Management
Audit Completion Targets: Ensure timely completion of assigned audits in alignment with departmental production goals and service level agreements (SLAs).
Inventory Management: Maintain a balanced and achievable audit inventory across the team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report individual and team performance metrics including audit volume, turnaround time, and error rates.
Training & Development
Support training on audit systems, policy management platforms, and other relevant applications.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Quality Assurance & Reporting
Analyze audit findings, resolve discrepancies with insureds, agents, and underwriters.
Prepare and present monthly reports on team productivity, audit quality, and other performance metrics.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure audit practices comply with state regulations and company filings.
Identify and maintain procedures for accurate classification of auditable business.
Customer and Agent Relations & Collaboration
Collaborate & support insureds and agents audit inquiries and/or disputes within region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Drive performance and accountability by making sure effective and timely actions are taken.
Maintain consistency across the organization while staying informed of industry trends and market demands to guide departmental practices.
Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives within the Premium Audit department.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in premium audit or related field.
Proven accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
Strong business acumen and understanding of industry concepts.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
APA (Associate in Premium Audit) designation or willingness to obtain.
