Overview:
The Manager of Pharmacy Data Insights leads the development, optimization, and execution of pharmacy analytics and automation initiatives. This leader will guide teams in translating complex data into meaningful insights that drive innovation, operational excellence, and patient-centered care across our pharmacy enterprise.

Essential Functions
1. Leadership and Team Management
Provide mentorship and guidance to supervisors, empowering them to effectively manage their teams.
Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering engagement and professional growth.
Ensure alignment of business analytics and automation teams with pharmacy strategy and organizational goals.
2. Tactical Oversight
Translate high-level pharmacy strategic initiatives into actionable tactical plans.
Guide the development of automation strategies and business analytics frameworks that drive operational excellence.
Collaborate with leaders and team members to identify innovation opportunities and ensure alignment with Novant Health's Cause.
3. Process Management and Improvement
Oversee workflow optimization for automation and analytics processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices in automation technology and business analytics to enhance pharmacy operations.
Lead continuous improvement efforts, using data-driven insights to refine existing systems.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between pharmacy leadership, automation teams, and business analytics professionals.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and shared objectives.
Present data-driven insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
5. Resource Management
Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for pharmacy automation and business analytics initiatives.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
Maintain vendor relationships and oversee the implementation of new technologies.
6. Training and Development
Develop training programs to ensure that automation and analytics teams are proficient in new systems and methodologies.
Encourage continuous learning and promote career development opportunities within the department.
Support the supervisors in enhancing their leadership skills and fostering team growth.
7. Performance and Metrics Tracking
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of automation and analytics initiatives.
Monitor operational efficiency and implement data-driven improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Risk Management
Identify potential risks related to automation and analytics, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
Maintain data security protocols and safeguard sensitive pharmacy analytics.
9. Fostering a Culture of Collaboration and Innovation
Promote a culture of teamwork, encouraging open communication and idea-sharing among automation and analytics teams.
Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into pharmacy operations.
Drive innovation and support change management initiatives to enhance efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications:
* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Pharmacy degree required for pharmacist licensure, required. Graduate Degree - Pharmacy / Healthcare Administration/ Business / Technology / Data Science or related, preferred.
* Experience:
* Five years Pharmacist practice, leadership, required.
* Two years Project planning and data analytics/reporting, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification:
* RPh (license), required.
* Epic Cogito (certification), preferred.
* PMI PMP or equivalent (credential), preferred.
