St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking a Manager Perioperative Services 1 to join our Meridian Surgerty Center team. 

Schedule:  1.0 (80 hours per pay period) Exempt, leadership role. 

What You Can Expect:

St. Luke's Meridian Surgery Center is located in the beautiful Treasure Valley area of Idaho. Currently we have two operating rooms, 10 Preop Bays and 6 Recovery Bays that specializes in general surgery, GYN and urology. Robotic surgery was added in early 2025 to expand services to the community. Expansion of 2-3 more operating rooms in the future is a possibility. The surgery center is consistently ranked in the 99th percentile for patient satisfaction nationwide. This position also oversees the operations of the endoscopy unit that contains 2 suites with growing volumes.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree (BSN)
* Experience: 5 +years management experience in the OR, Pre/OP, PACU, Endoscopy and/or Central Processing highly preferred for this leadership role.
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice is required for this position

Responsibilities:

The Manager Perioperative Services 1 is a member of the Perioperative leadership team responsible for the operation of the department and the measurement, assessment and continuous improvement of the department's performance. Directs outpatient surgery center or critical access facility.

* Provides day-to-day oversight of the unit/department assigned. 

* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. 

* Consults with other administrative or management personnel to develop operational, strategic, and long-range plans, including resource allocation and organizational policies. 

* Responsible for fiscal management, performance improvement activities, and compliance with all relevant policies/procedures and regulations. 

* Supports and participates in a plan for continuous quality improvement ensuring the efficiency of the department(s) as well as continuity of quality care for all patient/customers. 

* Exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems within established policies and practices. Serves as expert and resource to staff. 

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
* Experience: 5 year's experience in assigned area
* Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
