Our Finance Manager - Business Finance (Orkin) will act as the Financial Business Partner for one of the six Orkin divisions, working closely with the Division President (DP), Assistant Division President (ADP), and Region Managers to drive key business initiatives. The Finance Manager should be an innovative and collaborative leader with the ability to communicate and influence with impact. This individual will also provide insightful financial advice, support, reporting, and key analyses needed to help Orkin achieve its operating and financial plans.

Responsibilities:

You Will. . .

* Develop and prepare financial analyses and models to help improve Orkin operations and profitability and to ensure effective utilization of assets, including receivables/bad debt expense, materials, and supplies (inventory), fixed assets, fleet, and payroll/headcount
* Communicate division-level Results of Operations package to include standard commentary and several key reports that will address revenue growth, expense control, and profitability
* Work with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Orkin management to meet all annual and quarterly planning (budget/forecast) activities
* Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, business valuation, and strategic planning
* Collaborate with DPs and ADPs to develop and issue timely periodic Monthly Profit Projections and actionable risks and opportunities
* Assist Internal Reporting with timely preparation of selected Board materials
* Establish cross-functional partnerships and collaborate with department heads across the organization
* Coordinate between accounting and the business to ensure an efficient, effective, and timely monthly close
* Act as a liaison with Orkin operational leadership so that all P&L inquiries are responded to quickly and professionally
* Lead the preparation of the monthly Close Memo and/or create new reporting that is meaningful to the executives with the content needed
* Conduct field P&L training and participate at division, region meetings
* Assist with Acquisition analysis, due diligence, and post-closing integration into Orkin
* Communicate efficiently and effectively with senior management, both in writing and verbally
* Work on special projects and other tasks as assigned
* Provide leadership, transactional and analytical support, process improvements, and modernization initiatives for Orkin
* Influence a continuous improvement mindset including new and creative ways to approach challenging situations, upgrades to existing processes, and use of new tools (Alteryx, Power BI, etc.) for consistency in executing common tasks utilizing best practices across all Divisions
* Serve as a business partner and a guide to the Orkin Divisional management and ensure all activities are recorded and reported in compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies

What's Next: The Finance Manager role could have opportunities to progress within the Accounting and/or Finance Organization or take on operational leadership roles within Orkin and or other Brands.

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MBA, or Master's preferred)
* 6+ years in a large public company or a large private company with direct exposure to the operational finance organization
* Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques, experience with PowerPoint and advanced proficiency in Excel is essential
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and concisely
* Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the broader impact of financial decisions on organizational performance
* Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organization
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* JD Edwards (JDE), Power BI and Alteryx experience is a plus.
* Ability to travel ~10% domestically to support our business operations

Work environment:

* Eligible for hybrid office arrangements after onboarding and training
* Typical office days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our Atlanta Campus in Atlanta, GA
* Some travel to divisional meetings within the US may be required

* Must reside in the metro Atlanta area and be able to commute to the corporate office.
