Dignity Health Medical Group - North State a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a multi-specialty clinic with eleven locations in Redding and Red Bluff. Along with our local affiliated Dignity Health hospitals (Mercy Medical Center - Mt. Shasta Mercy Medical Center - Redding and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital) we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides high quality compassionate care in family medicine internal medicine OB/GYN cardiology neuro-interventional general surgery endovascular surgery endocrinology ENT colorectal surgery thoracic surgery and orthopedic surgery including general total joints and spine.
Responsibilities:
The Manager, Imaging Operations is expected to provide visionary leadership to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems, financial performance. Engages staff and cultivates an imaging center culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health and the medical group's "way" and culture. Effectively manages all operational aspects of the assigned imaging center(s). Works closely with staff and providers to ensure that all fiduciary and imaging center goals are met. Proactively determines workload priorities through planning, coordination and managing staff and providers to meet the imaging center's administrative, operational and support requirements. This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card transactions, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from single transactions or a single card at a time. This position will also have access to patient protected health information (PHI). The Manager, Imaging Operations has a responsibility to safeguard patient health and financial information.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Five (5) years experience as an Imaging Technologist in at least one discipline (X- Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.)
* Minimum three (3) years supervisory/managerial experience.
* Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Requires current Technologist Certification in at least one discipline; RTR, RDMS, CNMT, RVT, or RTCT
* Experience in ACR (or other regulatory agency) Accreditation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ambulatory care setting preferred.
* CRT experience strongly preferred.
* Strong PACS (informatics) experience highly desired.
* Five (5) years managerial experience preferred
* Master's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
