Responsibilities:

Our IT Finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the IT organization's technology investments are correctly accounted for and aligned with business objectives. The IT Expense Manager is a leader on this team and reports to the Senior Manager, IT Finance & FP&A, and are accountable for for managing the entire lifecycle of the purchase requisition process, which includes changes, modifications and enforcement of service level agreements. They act as a key contact and subject-matter expert for all IT expense management tools and activities, including resolving problems, mitigating delays, assisting with invoicing reconciliations and escalating issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of onshore and offshore resources who are responsible for the end-to-end management of IT Expenses, ensuring accurate record keeping and efficient processing of purchase requisitions, good receipts and invoices
* Collaborate with and foster positive working relationships with an array of internal stakeholders including Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, IT Buyers, Supply Chain, IT Vendor and Contract Management, and IT Leadership ranging from Managers to the IT Executive
* Document, enhance and enforce IT expense management processes, with the ultimate goal of improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement
* Leverage technology expense management tools and data analytics to gain insights into processing metrics, with accountability for preparing and presenting regular reports to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* A bachelor's degree is typically required, preferably in an analytical field (such as general business, economics, mathematics, statistics or finance)
* Minimum 5 years experience managing the life cycle of purchase requisitions or expense management, with an emphasis on technology or IT purchases

Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience leading expense teams and providing mentorship and employee development
* Proven experience managing large and complex expenses, preferably in IT org across hardware, software, outside data services, professional consulting services and communication categories
* Expertise and software proficiency with IT Expense Management (ITEM) and/or Technology Business Management (TBM) software and platforms
* Familiarity with Oracle and Servicenow is a plus
* Skilled in project and process management, with the ability to develop, implement, and enforce IT expense policies and procedures to streamline workflows and ensure compliance across the IT organization
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
