This outsourced accounting Manager role serves as a trusted advisor to high‑net‑worth individuals and family office clients, overseeing financial reporting, cash flow, and accounting operations while leading and developing engagement teams. This role blends hands‑on accounting expertise with consultative leadership, process improvement, and client relationship management in a high‑touch advisory environment.
 
This role can work remotely anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

* Review and deliver accurate financial statements and reporting packages for family office and private wealth clients.
* Provide accounting and financial reporting guidance, including cash flow oversight, budgeting support, and KPI review.
* Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted advisory relationships and coordinating with internal and external teams.
* Lead, coach, and review the work of associates and senior accountants to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Support onboarding of new clients, including system setup, documentation, and process alignment.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and expand services as client needs evolve.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required.
* 4-6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
* Asset management experience, e.g., private investment advisor groups is a plus.
* Prior experience managing or mentoring staff in a client-service environment
* Professional certification (e.g.,MBA, CPA) preferred.
* Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
* Preferred proficiency in industry accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct and a demonstrated ability to embrace new technologies.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
* Ability to travel up to 10%.
