Overview:
The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with the Distribution and Channel Sales team in support of sales, distribution partners, sub-distribution partners, Channel partners, ISV and Global SI in the planning and executing of marketing plans and programs that increase Zebra market share. The person will directly work on direct programs with the contracted BDMs within the distributors and partners along side with the Zebra sales team that cover the regional market and develop and execute aligned channel marketing plans with targeted partners to address business/marketing challenges. This position will also own the development of annual business/marketing plans through collaborative planning processes aligned with Zebra's go-to-market initiatives with the unique strengths of each distributor and channel partners and deliver a plan with clear goals, objectives and metrics.
Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of marketing professionals. Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and delivers on key business objectives.
* Strategic Marketing & Planning: Strategize, develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market and channel marketing plans that align with regional/global strategy and sales objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders including Channel Sales, Account Managers, Global SI BMs and Product/Business units to ensure strategic alignment.
* Partner Enablement & Execution: Lead the execution of marketing, enablement, and engagement initiatives for all channel partners including distributors, channel partners, ISVs and Global SI. This includes advocating product launches, creating targeted campaigns and content, planning events, and educating and executing with partners on new promotions and programs.
* Performance, Reporting & ROI: Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of all marketing plans against objectives. Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide detailed reporting to determine ROI and optimize investments.
* Budget & Project Management: Manage the annual marketing budget, including MDF/COOP funds, and oversee the approval of all related projects. Track all partner marketing activities using program management tools (e.g., Vistex) and ensure all planning and spent are on a timely manner.
* Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as a strategic partner to internal sales and management teams, building strong relationships to expand account penetration. Proactively consult with partners to suggest marketing approaches that accelerate revenue generation.
* Customer & Market Insights: Gather and deliver "Voice of the Customer" insights to inform and improve the development of marketing programs and address evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with business or marketing focus
Preferred Work Experience (years)
* 8 to 10+ years as a marketing strategist in a B-B corporate-based marketing position
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferred as this role would work with partners based in China who may not be able to communicate in English.
* In-depth knowledge of distribution (IT and Value Add) and partner routes-to-market
* Experience transforming business objectives into marketing goals/strategies
* Experience in product, solution and vertical marketing, including integrated campaign development
* Demonstrated ability to drive decisions, deliver results on short timelines, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of channel GTM readiness and financial health of the channel
