Our Manager, Acquisition Accounting, will join a dynamic finance team to drive the accounting and financial integration of acquired businesses. This position is pivotal in managing the financial reporting and technical accounting for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies to help Rollins achieve its strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, experience with business combinations, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities:
You Will. . .
* Lead the accounting aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactions, including purchase price allocation, opening balance sheet preparation, and integration of acquired entities
* Provide guidance and review for pre-acquisition financial due diligence reporting and identify accounting risks and integration challenges
* Research and document technical accounting issues, particularly related to business combinations, goodwill, intangibles, and contingent consideration
* Drive accurate and timely financial reporting for acquired entities, supporting monthly and quarterly close activities
* Enhance finance integration programs to onboard acquired businesses into the company's financial systems and processes and collaborate with other corporate processes as we build enterprise-level plan
* Coordinate the separation of divested businesses
* Act as a key liaison with external auditors during audits and reviews involving acquisitions and business combinations
* Identify and implement improvements in acquisition accounting processes and controls to promote efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
* BS/BA/MS degree in accounting or related field
* CPA, active license status required
* 4-6 years of progressive experience in public accounting or public company environments
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 805, and competency in reviewing financial statement schedules and performing financial statement analysis
* Strong analytical skills with an ability to make judgements
* Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively operate in a deadline driven environment
* Ability to develop skills in team members and build relationships with leaders and peers
* Understanding of internal controls framework
* Ability to listen to the needs of stakeholders, articulate issues in a clear and simplified manner, present findings
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
* Experience with public companies and SEC reporting requirements
* At least 2 years focused on acquisition or technical accounting
* Strong Excel skills and experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI)

* Must be local to the Atlanta metro area or willing to self-relocate to the area
