Overview: Summary: Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms. Participates in CIT teams as necessary. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures. Type of Opportunity: Per Required Need FTE: 0.001000 Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days Responsibilities: Responsibilities: *Maintains established policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, quality control, safety and MQSA standards. *Prepares written documentation as required by profession and department; maintains follow up care on post biopsy patients and post-surgical patients. *Performs radiographic examinations and all mammography examinations (e.g. screening, diagnostic, localization s, biopsies). *Maintains equipment, supplies, and maintains clean and orderly area. *Develops films including evaluating film for tech quality. *Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. *Attends meetings as required Qualifications: Other information: Education: Associates Degree * Credential: NM Radiography Tech * Requires Completion of ARRT (R) or NMTCB Certification within 1 yr. after graduation.
