Mammography Technologist

				Responsibilities:

* Directs daily activities within the department.  
* Facilitates employee orientation and training. 
* Performs area specific QA/QC procedures. 
* Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.  
* Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.
* Performs various operations using radiographic and associated equipment.
* Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.  
* Maintains patient records via appropriate system. 
* Performs patient care functions in a safe environment. 
* Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.  
* Substantiates status of good standing with state and national licensing/credentialing agencies by the submission of appropriate documentation.  
* Interacts effectively with all customers. 
* Assists staff and students in the performance of radiographic procedures and associated duties. 
* Participates in the evaluation of staff and students as needed.  
* Assists with the transportation of patients, maintains work area and performs basic clerical duties.
