Dignity Health Medical Group - North State a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a multi-specialty clinic with eleven locations in Redding and Red Bluff. Along with our local affiliated Dignity Health hospitals (Mercy Medical Center - Mt. Shasta Mercy Medical Center - Redding and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital) we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides high quality compassionate care in family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology, neuro-interventional, general surgery, endovascular surgery, endocrinology, ENT, colorectal surgery, thoracic surgery and orthopedic surgery including general total joints and spine.

Responsibilities:
As a Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform patient care services in our outpatient clinics.

Success in this role means you:
- Are responsible for the performance of mammographic imaging procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician / providers practice under the supervision of the radiologists other licensed staff and Management
- You will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions
- Apply a thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist to your patient or authorized person
- Collect patient data documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist's review
* Consistently completes exams in Tracker RIS in a timely fashion.
* Self initiative to identify opportunities and participate in improving radiologist efficiencies.
* Proactively involves others as appropriate in planning and prioritizing work.
* Quickly seeks assistance from leadership when unsure of what to do, how to handle a situation, or how to accomplish something.
* Consistently keeps self informed and prepared for any situation.
* Quickly responds to requests from coworkers and radiologist.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiololgic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program. Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Certification by the California Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CRT)
* AHA BLS
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic
equipment, and radiation safety is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* One (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist is preferred.
* Six (6) months experience in an out patient environment is preferred.
* RTR
* Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS is preferred.
