Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, utilize specialized knowledge and skills to produce high quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis for specified patient population. This position is responsible to complete required documentation for MQSA/ACR/FDA accreditations.

Qualifications:

We Require:

* Current State of Washington licensure as a Radiology Technologist - Certified.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R)
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (M) or successful completion of the Mammography certification (M) within 4 months of hire date.
* Minimum one year experience in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred.
* 24 hours of continuing medical education are required every two years
* CPR Certification to be renewed at designated intervals by VMFH.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology; strong organizational skills; a willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field; the ability to manage stressful situations appropriately; the ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently; and the ability to be versatile and flexible. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
* Preferred is two years of experience in mammography.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health Compliance requirements.
