Job Summary:

The Mammography Technologist, who, under the direction of the Radiologist or Imaging Supervisor, performs mammography procedures and documents accurate and quality Mammography studies of normal and abnormal anatomy. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for Quality Control on the Mammography Unit and documentation required for state inspections.

Responsibilities:

* As our Mammography Technologist, you will be vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion.

* Every day, you will expertly operate equipment, meticulously position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records. You'll collaborate with radiologists and adhere to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health.

* To be successful in this role, you will possess current mammography certification, exceptional technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor, ensuring accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

* 1 OR 2 years mammography experience and general Radiographic experience.

Licensure and Certifications:

* Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD:CA)
* Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
* Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA (FLRAD:CA)
* Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) or Registered Technologist Mammography (RTM)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:

* Able to perform Mammography with no supervision
* Good customer service skills
