Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Tech performs all mammography procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license, according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology and Mammography Quality Standards Act. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Associates Licenses/Certifications: - ARRT (R) (M) Radiology license issued by IEMA Experience: - Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology Program. Other skills/knowledge: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: - 1 year in mammography and radiology.
