Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Assistant supports technologists and radiologists by assisting with various examinations and patient care duties. This position is responsible for operating and troubleshooting ultrasound units to assist radiologists with ultrasound exams. This position is responsible for rooming patients, entering pertinent patient information into Epic and imaging equipment, assisting with scheduling patients for biopsies, and helping with daily workflow to minimize patient wait times. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served (puberty to adult). Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education * High School Education Other skills/knowledge * Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress.
