Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Malware Analysis Instructor to deliver training on malware analysis techniques. This position will be located in Columbia MD, and will be an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for training on malware techniques, static and dynamic analysis, digital forensics and reverse engineering. Teaching these topics using industry-standard tools and real-world case studies, often developing and updating training materials and ensuring the effectiveness of the training program. Assisting in the creation and maintenance of course materials, including slide decks, lab exercises, and training documentation. Keeping abreast of the latest malware trends, techniques, and tools to ensure training materials are up-to-date.
* Providing expert knowledge on malware analysis, including static and dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, and incident response.
* Conducting both virtual and on-site training sessions for various audiences, including employees and customers, in areas like malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response.
* Incorporating real-world case studies, malware samples, and threat emulation exercises into training programs.
* Documenting all aspects of the training program, including the development process, training delivery, and evaluation results
Qualifications:
High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
* Clearance Required: Secret
* 6+ years of experience delivering advanced cy-bersecurity training with operational experience in malware analysis and related cyber domains
* Skilled in instruction (ISD, ADDIE, Bloom's taxonomy, SAMR),malware reverse engineering, cyber analysis, and communication.
* IAT Level II or higher
