Responsibilities:

Responsible for following instructions from the Engineering Team, in addition to performing maintenance duties for casino operations.  Safely operate any related equipment in accordance with the established maintenance/preventive programs.

* Willingness to learn specific details of the casino equipment and work with facilities, maintenance and leadership to complete work both safely and efficiently.
* Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient and safe manner.
* Ability to take directions from Team Leaders or Senior Team Members when given.
* Follow all regulatory and safety standards and report any unsafe conditions to the Lead Engineer, Engineer or Leadership.
* Read construction layouts and blueprints and systematically planning all work processes. 
* Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased.
* Set up machinery.
* Performing maintenance duties for casino operations and other related equipment. 
* Make name tags and signs. 
* Build items as required.
* Meet specified deadlines and complete all assigned work.
* Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Ability to learn repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, upholstery, and carpentry
* May require ability to drive pick-up truck
* Excellent communication skills
* Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
* Have the ability to follow construction layouts and blueprints
* Able to operate standard office equipment
* Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the team
* Ability to effectively read, write and communicate verbally in English
* Ability to perform intermediate math
* Aptitude for electrical and mechanical equipment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
* Strong knowledge in safety awareness in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of themselves, the team, guests, contractors, the community and the environment

High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalency.    

Prior mechanical experience (preferred).
