				Overview:

The Environmental Service Supervisor will be responsible for directing maintenance staff, in addition to performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on all homes/facilities/offices, vehicles, and related equipment. The Environmental Service Supervisor is to ensure safe and sanitary operations in compliance with safety codes and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:

* Performs or monitors work on light plumbing on toilets, sinks, shower/tubs, and other as needed
* Responds to possible emergency repair requests on evenings and weekends
* Ensures furnace filters are changed on a regular basis (at least every 2 months)
* Ensures that water temperatures in homes are checked and maintained every month
* Completes general carpentry duties as needed and/or monitors carpentry work completed
* Ensures safe and quality completion of minor electrical repairs
* Contacts appropriate supervisor(s), Protective services, and law enforcement (if necessary) immediately related to suspected
abuse or neglect of the persons served
* Records and reports medical and safety issues
* Responds to medical and safety issues to ensure proper treatment
* Contacts appropriate supervisor(s) and ensures documentation is complete
* Implements universal precautions pertaining to personal care, first aid, and communicable diseases
* Reports maintenance vehicle needs to supervisor
* Maintains interior and exterior cleanliness of the maintenance vehicle
* Documents on mileage and fuel records
Receives maintenance requests and coordinates estimated time of completion with self and available maintenance personnel
* Ensures that all sites are maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, and company policy
* Establishes schedule and prioritizes tasks for self and maintenance personnel
* Ensures maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner
* Completes regular quality checks of completed maintenance
* Arranges for larger maintenance jobs to be completed by outside professionals per company policy, and supervisor guidance and approval
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED; exceptions to educational requirements must comply with state law; Technical or Vocational degree or certificate or equivalent combined education and related work experience preferred
* Three years of experience related to property maintenance with one year of supervisory experience required
* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing and perform work related mathematics
* Knowledge of painting, electrical, plumbing, AC/heating, refrigeration, auto mechanics, yard work techniques, and related tools
* Familiarity with repair procedures for walls, flooring, windows, doors, and other hardware
* Flexible in days and hours available for scheduled work
