The Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, and preventive maintenance according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This position is located at our Duluth Service Center and there is opportunity for upward mobility. * Pay for this position is $18/hr. The schedule for this position is first shift, M-F, with potential to work Saturdays in the future depending on business needs. Responsibilities: * Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines. * Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance. * Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards with a focus on limiting the number of out of service units * Maintain safe and clean work area * Perform other related duties as required Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have High school diploma or GED * Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities * Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years * no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI) * Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. * Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities * Schedule: Apart from religious observations must be able to work one of the following schedules with potential to work Saturday depending on business needs. * Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm * Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm * Must be willing to accept the starting pay of $18/hour
