				Overview:

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a Contract Maintenance Support Team in direct support of 30th ABCT, and other maintenance activities aligned with the Fort Bragg Eagle LSS contract. Oversees maintenance operations in support of tactical, non-tactical, commercial equipment, armament, and Communications and Electronic (C&E). Interfaces with government representatives and ensures contract compliance. Oversees and evaluates contracted maintenance capabilities, performance data, and statistical information; and makes maintenance and logistics recommendations; ensures adherence to maintenance policies and regulations. Responsible for internal operating procedures, processes, and efficient work flows. Provides technical assistance, guidance and recommendations on overall maintenance operations. Performs other duties as assigned by program leadership.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

* Supervises Field and Sustainment-level maintenance services and repairs.
* Supervises, or appoints site leads for each service location or team to guide contractor personnel.
* Technically familiar with the maintenance and operations of small, medium and large Army tactical and non-tactical wheeled, Track, Armament/Small Arms & Artillery, Heavy Equipment, Engineer & Special Purpose Equipment, HVAC, and Power Generation.
* Oversees the calibration of assigned Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment.
* Oversees maintenance recovery and assist with transport terms in need of maintenance repair.
* Facilitates recall actions for on-call drivers and mechanics for after-hours support for maintenance requests, when required.
* Implements, monitors and oversees safety processes and practices.
* Develops and performs analysis of operational performance standards to measure effectiveness and determine methods to increase overall operational management efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
* Prioritizes the maintenance workload to support mission based on established priorities.
* Ensures work orders are maintained as prescribed in AR 750-1 and DA Pam 750-8.
* Interfaces with customers on maintenance activities, serves as conduit for work initiation and completion.
* Tracks and analyzes and reports on metrics related to project performance and man power utilization.
* Prepares and maintain production reports, man-hours required/expended, and cost incurred.
* Plans, directs and manages personnel and required resources for day to day mission support.
* Able to react to change productively and handle essential tasks as assigned.
* Job duties and responsibilities may charge due to contractual requirements.
* Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: 

* Extensive use of a desktop computer and multi-functional device.
* Steel Toe shoes may be required.
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.
* Such PPE includes, but is not limited to: Face Mask, head, foot, hand, vision and hearing protective devices.
* Face mask that covers the nose and mouth is required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 

* Work will typically be conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment in a stationary position approximately 75 percent of the time or more with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
* Employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
* A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days a week).
* Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: 

* May require lifting to 50 pounds unassisted and a minimum of 10lbs.
* Must be able to function in office environment in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: 

* Associate degree or equivalent experience in Materiel Maintenance Logistics and Military Maintenance Operations.
* Should have five (5) years of supervisory experience within medium-sized military support organizations in the areas of maintenance, plus a comprehensive knowledge of supply and services, and transportation operations, as well as Army governing regulations, policies and procedures.
* Must have the ability to work independently and in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with subordinates, peers and senior personnel.
* Above average knowledge of the logistic information polices, process and system that pertain to Maintenance, Supply and Services, and Transportation Services.
* Knowledge and experience with Logistic Information System, such as Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)/FEDLOG.
* Organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills, possessing basic proficiency in English language (reading & writing).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and SharePoint is required.
* Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
* Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). 
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
* Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
* Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.

EXPERIENCE:

* Must have at least four (4) to six (6) years, or equivalent, experience in heavy medium and light wheeled equipment, power generation and ground support maintenance.
* Experience as an inspector of military equipment is preferred.
* At least five (5) years of maintenance supervisory experience within medium-sized military support organizations or equivalent, plus a comprehensive knowledge of supply and services, and transportation operations, as well as Army governing regulations, policies and procedures.
* Experience with GCSS-Army is preferred.

SKILLS:

* Ability to supervise the day-to-day logistics of multiple medium-sized geographically disbursed maintenance teams that inspect, service and repair tactical, non-tactical, and commercial equipment.
* Ability to provide technical assistance for the inspections, diagnostics and repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and cooling systems and major components of various tactical, non-tactical, commercial and power generation equipment.
* Ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals. Ability to execute relevant transactions using GCSS-Army.

* The Maintenance Supervisor receives guidance and direction as necessary from the 30th ABCT CMST Supervisor with regards to policies, directives and professional development.
